Dave- Primo, We all know you are still here. You have shown me in many ways. Last night at the quarter finals in Indianapolis the Rutherford’s left your seat open as in the missing man formation. We still sat with you. You are all over the practice field at the site today as well. I see many 38Lemon shirts on the member and know you are going to be on the field the next two nights no matter the outcome. We all toasted you again for your birthday at some unknown bar just as you’d like it. We know you are our guardian angel and have always been. I don’t like to talk in past tense when it comes to you. If you want to let us know what you think of the kids show just let us know and show us as you always do. See you at the show. Collette

Happy Birthday, David! How fitting that your birthday falls at the end of the Cadets 75th Anniversary Weekend. I have no doubt that you were looking down on the festivities with that beaming smile of yours and singing along.

Remembering you on your birthday. I'm so glad to have connections to friends both old and new because of you. Look for Missi's fireworks from your vantage point! Love, Becky

Missi,
I keep reading the messages posted on Dave's site and I keep receiving courage from them. I surely would love to have known David as a real person, but, even though, the strength of his writings has touched my heart in such a way that I firmly believe to have a friend in heaven.
Today, I'm just returning from a visit to my friend Lina, who, after having been operated to extract the necrosis on her brain, had to be re-operated twice to correct the insertion of an internal drain, due to an hydrocephali issue.
I ask you to pray for her and I feel grateful for David's spiritual intercession.
I rejoice with the spreading of the "butterfly effect" and I'm looking forward the growing of this "community of friends" whose heart is David himself.

Like all Cadets, I think of David often. He was the best of us, and his light continues to inspire. To David's family, I can see that the traffic on this website has slowed, but not because David fades from memory. He has touched too many lives for that ever to happen. Please know that as The Cadets travel through this first season since he has been gone, he is there on the field, a part of all of us everymore. For Holy Name shall always be...

Dear Welch Family-
Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers so very much recently, given that today marks the 6 month anniversary since Davids passing. As the parent of a child that has passed away, I know all too well the anxiety and anticipation leading up to certain anniversaries of a loved ones passing. Although time can not heal the pain of loosing a child, brother, loved one, it does eventually bring a certain peace. I pray you have been able to find peace and comfort today.
Sincerely,
Kirsten Pickles
